USGBC Chapter or National Membership?

Local Chapter membership is for individuals. By joining the Central Plains Chapter, you can take advantage of local chapter activities and get involved in greening homes, schools and businesses across the state of Kansas and western Missouri.

National USGBC membership is for companies and organizations. As a full-time employee of a national USGBC member company or organization, you may enjoy all the corporate benefits, including valuable discounts on USGBC and LEED® programs and publications.

Greenbuild International Conference & Expo: save at least $200 per registration
LEED Training Workshops: save up to $120 on each attendee from your company
LEED Reference Guides: save more than $25 on each purchase

NEW Membership Levels & Fees:

The USGBC Central Plains Chapter is pleased to announce the following changes in our Annual Membership Dues Structure, effective June 15, 2012.

$25.00 - Student Membership
For any student enrolled in 12 credit hours or more interested in participating in the USGBC Central Plains Chapter.

$35.00 - Emerging Professional Membership
For individuals within 5 years of graduation and is available at an annual half-price membership rate.

$50.00 - National Member Firm Employee Chapter Membership
Created for individuals who work for companies that are National USGBC Member Firms. These individuals are eligible for a “National Firm” discounted rate at $50.00 annually.

$70.00 - Regular Chapter Membership
For individuals who are not currently employed by national USGBC member companies/organizations. Full Members receive full Chapter membership benefits.

$35.00 - Community Membership
Created for government employees, retirees and persons not employed in a “green industry” (this would include the unemployed) that wish to be involved with supporting sustainability locally.

$100.00 - Sustaining Member
A new member status for those who commit to 25 hours of service annually and make an additional $100 donation to their annual membership fee. The $100 donation is 100% deductible by the fullest extent of the tax law, and members will receive a distinctive lapel pin, and special recognition in chapter communications and on our website.
