    Take a pedal-powered tour of sustainable arts, architecture, and food in the Crossroads Arts District. Before the tour, there will be a bicycle maintenance class.

    Join us for a fun-filled day where we will create useful projects out of reused materials! Work with prominent Kansas City architects to turn a plastic bottle into a terrarium and grow your indoor garden! Or, design a bird feeder while learning about native bird species that live in your backyard. Come explore new and fun ways to reuse household items.

    All families are welcome; hands-on activities will be geared for ages 7-14.
    Children check-in at 10:00 AM, the art projects will begin at 10:30.
    Lunch will be served at noon before heading to the zoo at 1:00 PM

    Cost: This event is FREE, but space is limited to 50 children; pre-registration is recommended. Registration includes Zoo tickets for the afternoon.
